Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre from a very young age. While a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both on and off campus. He joined the military in 1953. During his time stationed in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the Air force. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their first child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple left the Air Force of the United States. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple relocated in Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter and Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by on their own. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. They were blessed with two additional kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
