Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre from a very young stage. While studying in Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. After joining the airforce In 1953, he starred in an air force production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year 1957. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and relocated to Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted about six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also known as Julie) in this time.
