Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician, is best known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian family background. She was born to an Madras High Court attorney. There is also one younger sister, who works as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started classes in classical piano when she was eight years old, was called an "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. Young Stars was the Jackson Five-style band that Andrea joined when she turned 10 years old. It led to her first singing career as well as her first music composition. She performed as a performer at her college in various productions that were put on by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea served as President of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her theatre career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She appeared in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She also acted in a TV show which aired on Podhigai. Her performances have been all over India. She played a brief part in Kanda Mudhal in 2005, which is the finale. Gautham Vaisudev menon was able to have her sing in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then wanted her to take on the female lead for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani in the film which is an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel. Her husband takes part in an affair and she's blackmailed. Andrea was approached following Simran shobana and Tabu. It was first released in early the year 2010. In 2011, she accepted for a role in the film. Venkat Prabhu was in Mankatha. The film came out on the 11th of August in 2011. In 2013 she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's love film Annayum Rasoolum.
