Lis Wihl (born on August 19, 1961) was an American writer and lawyer who was employed by Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer on National Public Radio's show and The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She's appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and raised within Yakima in Washington State, matriculated in Yakima at West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree at Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at the US Attorney. She was the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She served as assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
